Our robot supports multiple AI large models. Prior to June 17, 2026, users could manually switch AI models when creating a new character in the Smart Life App.
However, due to the latest enterprise access policies introduced by major AI tech companies (specifically, enterprise digital signature authentication), Smart Life App updated the integration method with AI LLMs (Large Language Models). Effective June 18, 2026, the Smart Life App will gradually phase out manual AI model switching. Instead, it will automatically assign a single most suitable AI model based on the user's country/region.
Please note that this update will be rolled out to all users in batches.

● The AI robot has been preset a role, default language is English. After the robot is added in Smart Life app, tap "Role Change" → "My Characters" → "Create New Role" → Fill out information and tap "Next" → Select a language and tap "Confirm" → Select a voice tap "Apply", and then tap "Confirm" → Find the cutom role you just created and tap "Apply" → Language change is done.

4 Chat Modes:
The robot has 4 chat modes, but these 4 chat modes can not be activated at the same time, only 1 chat mode is valid each time. Therefore you need to aware which chat mode the robot is currently in, and then do corresponding operations:
● [Long Press to Talk] mode: Long press "Chat Activation Button"(central button) to speak.
● [Press to Talk] mode: Short press "Chat Activation Button"(central button) to speak.
● [Wake Up to Chat] mode: Say voice command "Hey, TUYA" to speak.
● [Free to Chat] mode: Freely talking, no need to press any button or say any voice commands. The robot replies to your words immediately.
※ The robot's default chat mode is [Long Press to Talk] mode, in this mode, you need to long press(press and hold) the "Chat Activation Button"(central button) to speak. After you finish your words, release your hands, then robot starts replying you.
※ If you do not like the default chat mode and want to use other chat modes, please double click "Chat Mode Conversion"(lowest button) to change to the chat mode you want. Every time you double-click on it, the chat mode changes (a voice prompt appears to tell you the name of the current chat mode).

- Can be used as control hub, you can speak to AI robot to control your Tuya devices on condition that the controlled Tuya devices have been preset the AI instruction code.
- If your Tuya devices does not support AI instruction code, then voice command is invalid.
- If you want to know whether your Tuya devices support instruction code or not, please ask its manufacturer.
- The smart switches and smart breakers in my store can support AI instruction code. IR(RF) smart remote, Sensors, Siren and Garage door opener don't support AI instruction code for now.
